ABOUT THIS ROLE:

 We are now recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our highly effective and multi-disciplined Finance team. The role includes

• Business partnering with key stakeholders & link to wider business
• Production of the monthly management accounts pack for business units and cost centres
• Delivering high quality accounts analysis, including variances and trends
• Report and analysis of capital expenditure and intercompany processing.
• Support wider finance team on best practices
• Complete ad hoc analysis requests for the business unit stakeholders and operational boards
• Monthly Reconciliation of key Balance sheets accounts
• Process improvements & utilisation of Technology to simply/speed up procedures
• Review cost analysis to identify cost reductions
• Support annual audit process

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounts production role.
• Able to work closely with non-finance teams
• Inquisitive nature to understand the causes of the numbers
• A logical, and analytical approach – with attention to detail
• Organised multi-tasker
• A can-do attitude and hunger to succeed
• Strong report production skills with clear communication of the results
• Experience of working in a similar capacity within a multi-functional, high-volume business is desirable.
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent excel skills
• Knowledge of Dynamics GP/ Coins
• Desirable: Construction industry/ contracting knowledge
