Due to continued success and expansion within our Hazardous Division we are currently looking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record in hazardous waste services and securing sales. 

This is a senior role within our existing dynamic sales team, responsible for the management and retention of existing business and delivery of new sales growth and will require focus on both revenue and profit generation.

The successful candidate will be comfortable selling to all levels from board room to shop floor and adept at adjusting sales approach accordingly.  There is significant opportunity for the right individual to progress within the business.

Key role areas:

  • Autonomous, field-based role – responsible for targeting a diverse range of SME and Corporate Business.
  • Responsible for generating new business sales, account / relationship management and business retention.
  • Assessment of potential jobs to ensure compliance and obtain waste data for accurate quoting.
  • Confidently deliver presentations and manage high level client meetings.
  • Developing contacts and cross selling other key services within MGL.
  • Contract negotiation and deal closing.
  • Prioritize and manage own workload and deliver to targets.


  • Pro-active, driven, commercial sales professional who has a proven track record of negotiating and closing deals.
  • Hungry for success you will use initiative and determination to maximise revenue and deliver profit.
  • Operational and commercial acumen.
  • Dynamic and prepared to go the extra mile.
  • A good communicator on different levels.
  • Understanding of contract mobilization and contract delivery.
  • Sound technical and regulatory understanding of hazardous waste management.
  • Previous background and experience in similar role within hazardous waste sales or management essential.
  • Experience of working within an independent business preferable.
  • Excellent I.T. skills, including all main MSOffice applications.
  • Professional, numerate, and excellent attention to detail.
