  • Be responsible for a team of Welders and Plant Engineers and ensure they are undertaking all duties to the highest standard and efficiency.

  • Assign and assess workload including inspections, servicing and repairs of plant equipment, to fabrication works or welding repairs to trucks and trailers.

  • Undertake quality checks on al completed work.

  • Provide support to workforce and suggest and implement improvements where required.

  • Production and implementation of RAMS.

  • Regular toolbox talks to encourage a safe working environment.

  • To collate and check timesheets on a weekly basis. Make amendments where necessary before submission.

  • Any other tasks deemed appropriate for the role.




  • Experience of MIG and ARC welding

  • Experience working with a diverse set of plant equipment

  • Ability to supervise a team.

  • Excellent fabrication skills

  • Ability to quality check

  • Flexible and adaptable to rapid business growth

  • The ability to work as part of a team or solely depending on size of task.

  • Good knowledge of basic Health & Safety procedures

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Full UK Driving License
